Spygate: UConn Edition

UConn just recently learned that someone was spying on the football team's practice.

If you are wondering why UConn went from preseason Big East contender to the bottom of the basement, think no more. The program recently learned that there is a spy amongst the student body. A displeased Randy Edsall announced that somebody has been spying on the Huskies’s practice. Apparently, some proprietary information from the football team’s recent practice was revealed and made public. There was a depiction of each and every move players made from the dorm room to the football field.

Coach Edsall is taking this breach very seriously and decided to move practice indoors to limit the number of people in the facility and to prevent any uninvited bird watchers.

As the story develops, The Matador will keep you posted.

In other news, West Virginia clearly did not get their hands on any footage of UConn’s practice as the Huskies shocked and embarrassed West Virginia last night 16-13 in OT.
