UConn in panic mode

Cody Endres (#12) may be under center sooner rather than later

After going 1-2, UConn Coach Randy Edsall is pushing the panic button by deciding to prematurely lift the suspension of two quality back-up players. QB Cody Endres and LG Erik Kiraczea were both reinstated this past weekend after UConn’s abysmal loss to Temple 16-30. The pair were originally suspend back in August for violating unspecified team rules. But seeing how the season is playing out, Coach Edsall will need all of his players if he wants any realistic shot at winning the Big East.

Looking at the first 3 games, starting QB Zach Frazer has been anything but stellar. It looks like Endres’ suspension was conveniently lifted at the most opportunistic time. Coach Edsall already suggested that Endres will be the starter if Frazer continues to struggle.

The Huskies face Buffalo this weekend.
