Texas A&M  will be down a WR this season.  WR Roger Holland (Jr. 5’10, 175 lbs.), from Houston, Texas, will miss his second straight season due to the lingering effects of multiple concussions he suffered during his college career.

Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman announced today that “we’re not going to play with him.”  “We’re going to sit him down and see how he does a year from now.” His status will be reevaluated in 2010.

Holland showed signs of promise for the Aggies as a freshman. In 2007, he caught 4 passes for 52 yards, including a 32-yard scoring grab against Kansas. He also had a 19-yard run on a reverse against Texas Tech.
