Frank Beamer tears bicep in arm, may require surgery
Virgina Tech football received a crushing blow this past week. No, no members of the football team were arrested, but rather, head coach Frank Beamer tore his bicep after falling while exiting Va. Tech’s private plane upon landing at a stop on the team’s Orange and Maroon tour. Beamer, ever the good sport, laughed off the incident: “It just chucked me,” said Beamer, laughing. “I thought I was being careful and the next thing that hit was my shoulder on the pavement. When it’s all over with, you say to yourself, ‘how clumsy can you be?’ Geeminy whiz.”
Beamer was scheduled to undergo an MRI earlier today to determine if surgery will be needed to repair the tear. Take it easy coach, those old bones can’t handle too many mishaps!
