Drama In Durham
Duke’s football team had quite the week filled with drama. First, speculation abounded over head coach David Cutcliffe’s potential departure to Tennessee. Now, three Blue Devil’s have been dismissed from the team for violation of team conduct. Early Sunday, gun shots were fired outside of a campus dorm by three Duke football players. In fear and panic, Police were called to the scene and were they recovered the discharged handgun. As a result, John Drew, Kyle Griswold, and Brandon Putnam were all arrested and charged with felony possession and discharging of a weapon.
Coach Cutcliffe wasted no time in giving the three musketeers the boot, and no one can argue with him about that. These three must be first class morons. Look, you play football at Duke. I’m pretty sure NFL scouts aren’t flocking to Durham, N.C. to watch practices in the hopes of finding the next pro-bowler. Why waste the opportunity to receive a top of the line education for free since the odds are they won’t be playing at the next level.
These three geniuses will have more than enough time to think about their idiotic actions, and they have no one to blame but themselves.
