Penn State’s LB Navorro Bowman is a fan favorite and a game changing performer. In yesterday’s win over Indiana, Bowman sparked the anemic Lions with a 73 yard INT return for a touchdown which ultimately lead to a 31-20 victory. Before that play, PSU had no momentum or any drive.

After the game, Bowman was questioned about his future and he seemed to indicate that he has played his last game at Happy Valley. He is poised to make himself available for the 2010 NFL draft. As it stands, he is slated to be a first round draft pick.

Whatever he elects to do, he has certainly left his mark on the team through strength and adversity and certainly deserves to play on Sundays. Fortunately for PSU, there are a string of linebackers ready to fill in and carry the tradition of Linebacker U.

Good luck to you Mr. Bowman.
