Nike Pro Combat uniform is finally here

Football is war and Nike is continuing to lead the market in producing top quality gear to protect Nike’s players. The newest line is the Nike Pro Combat uniform which will be unveiled on Saturday November 21st by the Florida State Seminoles when they take the field against ACC rival Maryland. The Seminoles have full discretion when they will wear this unique gear, but insiders are already saying the Seminoles’ players love the new body armor and the added protection.

The Combat uniform is said to be 37 percent lighter than the current Seminoles uniform, but provides strategically placed pads that are composed of dual density foam cells that absorb, deflect and disperse any impact that occurs on the field.

Even with the added protection, the padding provides more mobility and improves ventilation and breathability. Florida State was one of 10 schools to test this product, but don’t be surprised if you see all Nike schools wearing the Combat uniform in the coming years.

Check out the video and photos, FSU’s redesigned uniforms look pretty sharp.
