In an ongoing effort to continue the exploitation of today’s college athletes, Charlies Weis is ready to suit up Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd after suffering a broken collarbone. If you don’t recall, earlier in the season, Floyd suffered from a broken left collarbone when landing awkwardly in the end-zone against the Spartans. Apparently, his September 20th surgery was more successful than anticipated as the team is ready to suit up Floyd for this week’s practices.
If things go well for Floyd, Weis is confident we will see him on the field as early as November 14th when the Irish travel to Pittsburgh. Floyd’s presence on the field is truly missed as he’s amassed an outstanding 160 yards per game this season.
Hopefully, it all works out for Floyd, but in the meantime, don’t forget to tune-in this Saturday as Notre dame plays host to the Trojans.
