QB Jake Locker (#10) leads his team to victory

The Matador is cracking open a Strongbow regaling on something Washington has not done since Nov. 17, 2007 when the Huskies faced California–WIN A GAME. The Huskies had the unfortunate privilege of holding the nations longest D-1 losing streak at 15 games. The streak came to a screeching halt today at the hands of Idaho 42-23.

QB Jake Locker came into this game with one thing in mind, WIN. Also to note, Coach Steve Sarkisian got his first win as the head ball coach. His offensive strategy was balanced and well played. Locker had an outstanding game throwing for 253 yards with 3 passing TDs and no INTs.

Congratulations to the Huskies, Locker, Sarkisian, and a special congratulations to all the Huskies’ fans who went through an entire season of pain.
