LB Orie Lemon (41) is done for the season
As Oklahoma State gears up for a huge battle against Georgia on opening day, the Cowboys will be without the services of senior middle linebacker Orie Lemon. Unfortunately, Lemon tore his ACL in practice earlier this week. If he opts for surgery, he will miss the 2009 season.
The good news is Lemon still has his red-shirt which allows him to return for the 2010 season. To fill the gap in Lemon’s absence is senior LB Donald Booker. Booker was a transfer from Navarro (Texas) College two years ago. Defensive coordinator Bill Young raves about Booker’s speed and athleticism and is confident Booker will adjust fine.
