Jock Sanders (#9)
West Virginia coach Bill Stewart has reinstated WR Jock Sanders (So. 5’7, 174 lbs.) just in time for camp. This past February, Sanders was suspended for DUI charges. However, in July Coach Stewart allowed Sanders to work with the team in anticipation of Sanders’ completing his off the field expectations to include an alcohol awareness course, talking to students about the dangers of drinking and driving, and have a lock installed on his vehicle’s ignition for a set period of time.
It appears Sanders is well on his way to paying his debt back to society. Soon it will be time for him to pay his debt back to the school by way of improving off of his 53 receptions last season.
