Maryland’s Ralph Friedgen was battling Kansas coach Mark Mangino for the heaviest coach alive title last season. Don’t look now but the Fridge has dropped 105 lbs since the off-season courtesy of his new diet. Friedgen weighed well over 300 lbs. at one point and says he started the diet to prevent health concern complications that come along with being overweight as he gets older.
