The Arizona State Sun Devils spent over a year in production and design to rebrand ASU athletics. The Sun Devils in a partnership with Nike unveiled all their hard work yesterday to show the collegiate world their new uniforms and designs under the “It’s Time” campaign. NCAA says “NO” to Arizona State

Arizona State is coming off of a miraculous win over in-state rival Arizona. After blocking a PAT in double overtime and hoisting the Territorial Cup, the Sun Devils finished the regular season 6-6. According to the NCAA, 6 wins makes you automatically bowl eligible. However, there is one caveat to the rule. If you play two FCS teams (Div. 1-AA) you must have at least 7 wins. ASU’s Steven Threet will take the field as starting quarterback for the first time in nearly two years when Arizona State opens their season against Portland State this Saturday. Threet has been somewhat of a gypsy throughout his collegiate football career. The 6’4, 240 lb., redshirt junior has played for three division 1 programs since graduating high school in 2006.
