Charest bids farewell to Illinois

Jacob Charest has transferred from the University of Illinois a week after Illini head coach Ron Zook named Nathan Scheelhaase the starting QB for the 2010 season. This news doesn’t really come as that much of a shocker as Charest had become buried in the depth chart over the course of spring practices.
