Clemson will take down N.C. State

The Matador can’t seem to get over that .500 threshold, but things will change this Saturday. I am calling for a huge win for Clemson. Clemson is less than a TD favorite (-4.5) against N.C. State. I’m not sure how this line was set. The Wolfpack’s offense is pretty much an air attack and Clemson is ranked 2nd in the ACC for pass defense. Ergo, when push comes to shove, N.C. NC State’s Nate Irving is out Indefinitely

Unfortunately, it looks like N.C. State LB Nate Irving (6’1, 235 lbs) could miss the entire season after suffering a broken leg and collapsed lung in a June 28 car accident. Irving’s exact status is still not know yet and he has a follow-up appointment with his doctors in August.
