The service academies clearly play by a different set of standards when it comes to player discipline. Navy’s head coach Ken Niumatalolo dismissed slotback Marcus Curry from the team for violation of team rules. The Armed Forces Bowl has reached an agreement with Army that will pave the way for the Black Knights to play in the bowl game next season. Currently the Armed Forces Bowl has a contractual obligation to pick between Conference USA and Mountain West Conference teams that are bowl eligible at the end of the season.
