The 2011 Rotary Lombardi Award finalists were named earlier this evening from a strong pool of 12 semi-finalists at a heavily attended announcement party at Houston’s Tasting Room Wine Bar. The four finalists are: LB Dont’a Hightower (Alabama) LB Courtney Upshaw (Alabama) OT Jonathan Martin (Stanford) LB Luke Kuechly (Boston College) The 42nd Rotary Lombardi awarded will be presented on December 7, 2011 during the award show at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas.
The Rotary Club of Houston announced the 12 semifinalists for the 42nd annual Rotary Lombardi Award (RLA) awarded to the best college football lineman or linebacker.
