Jerry Jones just officially launched an offshoot of his Cowboys Merchandising Ltd. company called Silver Star Merchandising. The goal of Silver Star is to lure top college athletic programs with the hopes of banking off of the program’s success with the sale of logo branded apparel. Jones’ first victim was the University of Southern California. Holder lets go of Jones’ money

The mantra “Greed is Good” does not apply to Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder. Apparently, Jerry Jones was pushing for the Oklahoma State v. Georgia match-up to be played at the new Cowboy Stadium. Holder turned it down along with an additional $6 million.
