Carrying an impressive 3-1 record, the Maryland Terrapins will host ACC foe Duke this Saturday at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium in College Park, MD. Saturday’s game against Duke will be Maryland’s first conference game of the season. The crystal ball is telling The Matador that unemployment will be on the rise in the state of Florida come 2010. It looks like when Jimbo Fisher takes the helm, he will be clearing house. Already on the list for pink slips is Dexter Carter, running backs coach, Chuck Amato, assistant coach, Todd Stroud strength coach, and Jody Allen DE coach. At least those four and maybe more will ring in 2010 with all the good folks standing in the unemployment line....

The Gator Bowl (Florida State vs. West  Virginia) has added 6,000 additional seats for FSU coach Bobby Bowden’s curtain call, bringing the stadium’s capacity to 83,500 for this year’s edition. The highly anticipated Gator Bowl sold out in a little under two hours after the match-up was announced this past Sunday.
