The Maryland Terrapins and DT Dion Armstrong are parting ways. Armstrong, who has been having academic issues all through the spring and the summer, informed coach Ralph Friedgen of his intent to transfer. Friedgen was accepting of Armstrong’s issues and understands it’s time to move on. From a football perspective, this hurts the Terrapins’ D-line.
