The San Diego State Aztecs are set to host the BYU Cougars in the 2012 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl this Thursday, December 12, 2012 at 8 pm (EST) on ESPN.  This is the Aztecs second appearance in the Poinsettia Bowl (defeated Navy 35-13 in 2010) while this is the first time the Cougars are traveling to Qualcomm Stadium for post-season play. Mendenhall wants Pre-season Polls Abolished

It looks like BYU’s head coach Bronco Mendenhall is fed up with the preseason polls. Mendenhall feels that the Mountain West just doesn’t get any respect when it comes to rankings and bowl selections.
