The 85th edition of the East West Shrine Game was played yesterday in Orlando, Florida. Northwestern’s Mike Kafka (18-27 150 yards) led the east to the game winning drive by hitting Penn State’s Andrew Quarless with 5 ticks left on the clock. In the huddle I told Kafka, ‘Just throw it up and I’ll make a play.’ He threw a perfect pass,” Quarless said. “It just feels good to go out with a bang.” The Nittany Lions also had a strong showing...
