There is no denying Redskins LB Brian Orakpo is a menace on the football field, but on the golf course, that remains to be seen. During the Brian Orakpo Leukemia Golf Classic, fans got to see first-hand Orakpo’s Tiger Woods like swing (see video above). Unfortunately, Orakpo had some difficulty connecting with the ball.
DeAngelo Hall had some telling words about the lefty’s game, “’Rak can’t play [golf]. He’s a little too stiff.” When asked about who had the best shot at winning, Hall took a jab at Graham Gano, “kickers normally can play golf, because they don’t have anything else to do.”
The Classic was founded in 2006 by then Redskins QB Mark Brunell. Since the tournament’s inception, close to $1 million has been raised for the National Capital Area Chapter of LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma society). This year’s scramble tournament was played at the exclusive Trump National Golf Club, Potomac Falls, VA.
