To all freshman, put your arrogance aside and play some ball
In a post practice interview, Florida’s OL Mike Pouncey, in a jokingly but spirited way, displayed his fondness of arrogant freshman. In perhaps a motivational tool, he is asking the freshman to zip their mouths and show why they were the top class when they take the field. This year’s recruiting class was arguably #1 in the nation, and with that title, there comes a bit of unwarranted cockiness. As Pouncey pointed out in his interview, all the freshman may have been high school studs a few months ago, but they “haven’t done nothin’ on Saturday.”
