Kiffin knows how to make friends and influence people
USC’s adoration for making headlines continues tonight as Lane Kiffin managed to piss someone off beyond the college football world. Earlier today, Kiffin snagged Tennessee Titans running backs coach Kennedy Pola to coach his offense without even having the respect to contact Titans coach Jeff Fisher as a courtesy. Only after Kiffin and Pola made arrangements did he finally decide to contact Fisher.
Pola, a former Trojan, will assume ousted Todd McNair’s duties and looks forward to his return to SoCal. In the meantime, Fisher, also a former Trojan, is pressed to find a new running backs coach as Titans’ training camp is right around the corner.
