Kyle Parker still weighing his options

As the 2010 season nears, Clemson is still awaiting word from QB Kyle Parker on his decision to either return to school or depart for the Colorado Rockies. Rumors were swirling that Parker would give Clemson his decision over the weekend, but mum is still the word as Parker and Colorado continue hammering out a  potential multi-million dollar signing bonus. That alone would be reason enough to sway Parker from the gridiron.

Parker was taken with the 26th pick in the first round of MLB’s draft last month by the Rockies. Since then, much speculation has been given as to whether he’d return to Clemson to play football or bolt for riches in baseball. Just one year ago, Parker was entrenched in a heated QB contest for the starting slot on the roster. Fast forward to a year later and he’s the talk of the town. No matter what his final decision is, Parker’s almost a lock to succeed in either sport as a professional.
