UNLV assistant coach goes klepto

Former University of Colorado LB (1997-99) and current UNLV assistant football coach (for now) Tyler Gregorak was charged Thursday with theft and trespassing. Earlier this month, the 31 year old kleptomaniac robbed a strip club bouncer who failed to let Gregorak into the Nitro strip club on Pearl Street because he was too drunk.

In a fit of retaliation, Gregorak found the bouncer’s car, broke in, and took his wallet and a loaded .45 caliber Glock 36 gun. After Gregorak sobered up and realized what he did was wrong, he went to the bouncer’s home and apologized and returned the items back to the bouncer. Nonetheless, prosecutors in Boulder still filed charges on Thursday for his criminal conduct.

UNLV’s AD Jim Livengood asked Gregorak to resign for his horrible judgment. If he doesn’t, his contract will not be renewed when it expires on June 30.
