The college football world will have to deal with Tim Tebow for one more season, at least in the electronic gaming world. Earlier today, EA Sports and Tim Tebow announced their pairing up as he signed a contract on the dotted line to be featured on the cover of EA Sports NCAA Football 2011.
EA Sports wanted to memorialize the legendary college QB who completed his Gator career winning the Heisman trophy in 2007 sandwiched by two national championships in 2006 and 2008. He also tossed 88 TDs and ran for another 57 TDs. The list goes on and on, but as we all know, making the cover of EA Sports isn’t necessarily a good thing–perhaps Tebow can break the curse.
For you gamers, NCAA Football will be released on July 13th.
