Recently suspended Boise safety Jason Robinson was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony aggravated battery. Robinson was suspended late last week for undisclosed violation of team rules, but no specific violation was given. With Robinson’s arrest, more details are being made known concerning the suspension.
Robinson was involved in a bar altercation on February 12th in which he broke another man’s jaw. The victim was taken to the hospital where he informed local authorities about what had happened. Boise police opened an investigation but turned it over to county authorities who issued an arrest warrant for Robinson on Monday.
Robinson is currently out on a $5,000 bond but it doesn’t look he’ll be back on the playing field any time soon.
