50 Cent is trading in his Kevlar for cleats
The buzz around Hollywood, or should I say Allendale, Michigan, is that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is trading in his mic and Kevlar for shoulder pads and cleats. That’s right, 50 Cent is returning to the big screen as a college football player.
50 Cent’s new feature, Things Fall Apart, will be a movie surrounded by his character, a star senior running back, who has been diagnosed with cancer. It has been rumored that 50 Cent is shedding over 65 pounds to portray the cancer laden back.
The movie is being directed by Mario Van Peebles and financing will be done through 50 Cent’s Cheetah Vision Films. For those of you who want to be extras or just simply want to watch 50 and company stroll around campus, head over to Grand Valley State University. Film crews are already stationed there setting up shop to prepare for filming in the coming months.
Unfortunately, you wont see 50 Cent just yet as he is currently kicking off his “Before I Self Destruct” tour which could be a premonition to his movie “Things Fall Apart.” Only time will tell, but we do know this, 50 Cent will be coming to a theater near you.
