Good things are coming to Tuscaloosa. The University of Alabama is so proud of their newly acquired crystal ball, that the team wants to give its fanbase the opportunity to share in the excitement. In an unprecedented move, the school will be displaying the hardware at the local Walmart.
That’s right folks. When you are snaking the aisles of Walmart looking for some good rollback savings, you may stumble across the BCS National Championship Trophy. The first stop will be the Supercenter in Tuscaloosa (today) and the Gardendale Walmart tomorrow.
The Matador is sorry to report that the trophy will not be for sale. This historical event also marks the first time anything ever made by Waterford Crystal will actually be in a Walmart.
I hope the good people of Alabama appreciate the opportunity to pose in front of the most coveted college team trophy.
