Villanova Wins '09 FCS Championship

“If I died here winning the national championship, that would be a pretty good death,” he said. “Does that tell you how much it means to me?” These were the words spoken by Villanova head coach Andy Talley shortly after winning the FCS National Championship. Andy Talley’s been at Villanova for 25 years and he made his first championship appearance a memorable one. Talley and co. edged out the top seeded Montana Grizzles 23-21 during Friday’s FCS season ending showdown in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mr. Miles would like to send out his congrats to the Villanova sports community on a huge win. A great season ended with an ever fitting monumental win. Job well done Wildcats.
