Tension will surround the air when Ole Miss takes the field this Saturday

In an act of stupidity, Ole Miss is allowing the Mississippi White Knigths of the KKK to stage a non-violent protest to show their distaste of the removal of “From Dixie With Love” from the band’s song selection during football games. The overweight white folks from Tunica will tailgate en masse in Oxford prior to Saturday’s game against LSU to shed light on their protest from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The administration initially warned the students to cease the traditional chant of “the South will rise again” during the games. Of course, the fans refused to listen to the warning and the song was ultimately removed from the band’s rotation.

This obviously made the Mississippi KKK pariah Shane “No Education” Tate upset, “we are coming to Ole Miss to say enough is enough on attacking our Christian, southern heritage and culture, and it’s time for every person to have a right to freedom of speech.” “Trouble has already been caused by a handful at Ole Miss, including the black student body president, who wants to shape Ole Miss into yet another liberal sodimate college.”

All this seems to be a publicity stunt aimed to get Tate and his homies some free air time. The reality though, is its leaving a black eye on Ole Miss, but more so on the backwards state of Mississippi. Since this will be the first time most of Tate’s gang have every stepped foot on a college campus, maybe they should march themselves right to the J.D Williams library and learn something.

As a side note, players from both Ole Miss and LSU were told to wear their helmets at all times as they marched through the tunnel and enter the field for precautionary reasons.

In unrelated news, there has been a heavy inquiry from recruits and students about transferring to Mississippi State University.
