Demps tackled and injured in the Mississippi State game

Florida's Jeff Demps (#2) was tackled and injured during Saturday's Mississippi State game

5’8 sophomore RB Jeff Demps was seen around Gainesville, FL wearing a neck brace. Demps injured his neck during Saturday’s 29-19 win over Mississippi State. Demps is one of the stronger offensive players on the not so productive Florida offense this season as he is second on the team with 457 rushing yards with 5 TDs.

Though he was injured in Saturday’s game, the neck brace isn’t enough to keep Demps down. Coach Urban Meyer expects him to suit up and play this weekend against rival Georgia. It is clear Meyer is continuing his tradition of playing players immediately after suffering an injury. Way to stay true to form coach Meyer.
