Is Tebow really ready to play?

The Matador isn’t sure what’s going on down in Gainsville, but Tim Tebow has returned to practice, albeit on a limited basis. Though he hasn’t been officially cleared, he is slowly going through the motions as if he is going to play this Saturday against top rated LSU.

Today, Tebow was in full pads and was throwing passes with the first team. Although, he did have a non-contact jersey which is typically worn by QBs. Even if the NCAA clears Tebow, it still seems apparent that John Brantley will start. Now no one is accusing Meyer’s ethics, but the fact that there is even any news that Tebew could play, it puts into question Meyer’s motives. Tebow suffered a serious head injury. Maybe rushing his return isn’t such a good idea. There is a point where Meyer has to put the health of his players over winning.
