Jeff Tow-Arnett breaks right leg, out for the season

The Gophers not only lost a nail-bitter to Wisconsin 28-31 on Saturday, but in the midst, they lost their starting center, Jeff Tow-Arnett, for the rest of the season. Tow-Arnett broke his right leg with less than a minute left in the game.

Coach Brewster was devastated by the news as he had a close relationship with the junior. QB Adam Weber will also miss Tow-Arnett as they developed and worked together since entering Minnesota as freshman. Sophomore Trey Davis will fill the void in Tow-Arnett’s absence.
