Playoff PAC created to crush BCS

Interested in a college football play-off? If so, contact your congressman

When you think political action committee (PAC), you usually don’t think BCS. In an effort to establish a post-season championship game, a group of young professionals (mostly attorneys) and die-hard college football fans started the Playoff PAC to raise funds for candidates who support a playoff system.

We all know the BCS, at its current state, is full of flaws and a paper champion rather than a true champion is crowned king. Hopefully, with the money raised, it will further bolster and mobilize public support to create some sort of reform to change the current BCS system.

Matt Sanderson deserves a global round of applause for launching this PAC. If enough support is garnered, who knows, we may see a playoff system sooner rather than later. There is already one heavy hitter who supports such a system–President Barack Obama.

So for all you college football fans, DONATE NOW!
