PSU lands #1 FB in the nation
Penn State lands one of the nations top fullbacks in Zach Zwinak (#1 according to Rivals.com). Zwinak (6’2, 230 lbs.), who hails from Frederick, Maryland a hot-bed for PSU recruiters, turned down offers from top programs such as Virginia Tech, UNC, Michigan, Stanford, California, and Boston College, to sport the blue and white. Zwinak said he particularly liked the HD spread offense and the two-back formation at PSU.
Joe Paterno is a legend when it comes to convincing athletes to come to Penn State and Zwinak’s committment to the Nittany Lions proves that the ‘ole ball coach still has it. Rivals has PSU ranked #10 in recuriting for 2010.
