First it was Austin Rogers, then Denarius Moore, now Gerald Jones is temporarily out. During the Vol’s Saturday scrimmage, junior WR Gerald Jones went down with a high ankle sprain. His injury will force him to sit at least 4-6 weeks.
This is extremely costly and worrisome for Kifffin and crew as the Vols are running out of any go-to or experienced receivers as the season kicks-off. Tennessee has two big early match-ups as the Vols face UCLA September 12th and Florida on the 19th. If the WR crew is not 100%, the offense will have major issues.
