Todd Named '09 Tiger QB
The Auburn Tigers have named Chris Todd their starting quarterback for the 2009 football season. This news ends the speculation for Auburn fans of who wondered who their QB was going to be.
Todd beat out 4 other quarterbacks, including incumbent Kodi Burns. Todd originally started the 2008 season as Auburn’s QB but was sidelined with a shoulder injury. Burns took over for Todd after the injury but was very pedestrian with a 2-5 record as the starter.
Questions filled Auburn’s off-season on whether Burns or Todd would be the starting QB. Burns will be moved to WR and worked out with the other receivers at Auburn’s practice yesterday.
