Reports surfacing out of Knoxville, TN are confirming that leading Vols WR Austin Rogers (6-2 190lbs Sr.) has torn his ACL and will be sidelined for the 2009 season. This comes as a huge blow to the program as Rogers is the active career receptions leader with 76 for 891 yards and four touchdowns. Rogers would have been a fifth year senior this season and a staple on an offense that is already very thin due to injuries. Lane Kiffen already inherited a program in a downward spiral and this definitely will not help his cause.
