A.J. Graham cleared of felony charges, will play for Marshall

Anthony “A.J.” Graham was almost certain to never see the college gridiron after his May 26th arrest for armed robbery of three men on their way to a party. Not only did Marshall rescind Graham’s scholarship, but he was looking down the barrel of a 10 year to life prison sentence.

His trial was originally scheduled for October 19th; however, Assistant State Attorney Fuchs did not have enough evidence to proceed with the case and Graham had a strong alibi. Thus, the state dropped the charges and Graham was exonerated.

As if this wasn’t a blessing enough, Marshall recently contacted Graham and reinstated his scholarship. The Herd is excited about Graham and hopes everyone can put this unfortunate incident behind them and move forward.

Godby‘s Graham was Mr. Football from Florida and is now going to get a second chance to show all his skeptics and doubters that he is the star that everyone thinks he can be.
