I'll give you this trophy for $4 million
It looks like Urban Meyer has put to rest the question and rumor of whether or not he will leave Florida to coach at Notre Dame next season or in the near future. Meyer just signed a 6 year deal worth approximately $4 million per year.
He will remain head coach and under the new deal will also be the co-chairman of a university scholarship program in which he already committed $1 million during his tenure. The program was created by school president Bernie Machen. It provides financial assistance to first-generation, financially disadvantaged students working toward bachelor’s degrees.
On a side note, the University of Florida’s tuition hike is official.
