James suffered a fractured elbow while attempting to recover a fumble during last night's game.

During the fourth quarter of the Oregon Ducks conference game against Cal, RB LaMichael James suffered a gruesome elbow fracture as he tried to recover a goal line fumble early in the fourth quarter.  The picture isn’t pretty and his elbow is certainly bent in a horrific way but James popped it back in while on the field.

James did say that he suffered the exact same injury in high school and played the next week.  He is confident in a quick return: “It’s not a season-ending injury,” James said. “I’ll be fine before the end of the season.”

James was a dominant force in Oregon’s 43-15 win over California, as he amassed 239 yards and 1 TD off of 30 touches.
