Bradford hopes to play on Sundays

The word is out in Norman, Oklahoma. Sam Bradford’s Sooner career is over. The Heisman Trophy winner is opting for season-ending shoulder surgery.  The surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday in Birmingham, Alabama. This week’s lock will prove to be another exciting match-up as I turn to the Big 10. The game is Penn State v. Michigan. The line is PSU -4.5. Now I know the Big House hasn’t been favorable...

Injury bug hits Texas Tech QBs

When Texas Tech’s Taylor Potts went down and suffered a concussion, the Red Raider faithful weren’t sure what they were going to get when QB Steven Sheffield stepped in under center. Sheffield, a walk-on QB, has done nothing but impress all his doubters by throwing for 724 yards and 8 TDs in the past two weeks against Kansas State and Nebraska. Unfortunately, Texas Tech may have to dig deeper in the roster and turn to redshirt freshman Seth Doege....

Auburn suspends DB Adams

Auburn is 5-2, but only 2-2 in SEC play. The Tigers, who have an uphill battle to move up the ranks in the SEC, just got a little weaker in an already thin position. Sophomore DB Harry Adams was just suspended from the team for violation of team rules. Adams wasn’t a starter, but he did play in the nickel and dime formations. This season he amassed 7 tackles. The team is scrambling to find players that can play...
