Mississippi State’s WR Brandon McRae’s (Sr. 6’4, 205 lbs.) 2008 season ended abruptly in the second quarter as he had to be carted off the field in the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss with a broken leg. The Bulldogs were crushed 0-45. He suffered a compound fracture of the tibia and had to have his leg immobilized. McRae missed all of spring practice recovering from the injury.
