The Great Brawl of China

It’s no secret that the world is trying to keep up with the United States when it comes to basketball. From passing, to shooting, to high-flying dunks, USA basketball is second to none. What is most puzzling is when other countries adopt other aspects of the game, such as fighting.

During a friendly game between China and Brazil, China’s coach became irate with the officiating after a hard Brazilian foul. It’s no surprise that the Chinese hate to lose. So after one thing led to another, all of a sudden a Chinese player retaliated leading to a brawl that ultimately ended the game.

If the video doesn’t seem shocking, check out some of the still photography. If that still doesn’t wet your appetite, you can always look back to how the US does it in the NBA.
