Coach Bob Stoops asks Sooner fans to pay homage to the Air Force Academy
On Saturday, the Falcons head to Norman to face the top flight Sooners. To honor Air Force, he is requesting that the fans break a tradition when singing the national anthem in respect of the Air Force Academy. Typically, the fans shout “home of the Sooners” during the conclusion of the national anthem. Stoops is calling out Sooner Nation to sing the traditional words of “home of the brave” to show respect for the academies and the military.
Coach Bob Stoops is a class act and is doing the right thing.
