Penn State lands its 14th 2010 recruit in top TE Kevin Haplea from North Hunterdon High in Annandale, New Jersey. Haplea (6’4, 230 lbs.) also considered Florida State, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina. He will be a perfect fit for the Nittany Lions as they will lose their top two TEs at the end of this season.  To prepare for the 2010 season, Haplea plans on graduating high school early and will attend Penn State this January.

On why Haplea selected Penn State, “Penn State met every need I thought I had, so in the end there was really no question.”

Penn State’s 2010 recruiting class ranks 6th nationally with 14 commits.
