Erin Andrews joins the GameDay crew.
Erin Andrews, everyone’s favorite sideline personality, has just signed on with the popular College GameDay crew. ESPN/ABC was forced into giving Andrews a new contract after her stint with “Dancing with the Stars” made her a household name. Several media outlets expressed interest in signing Andrews, but ESPN/ABC answered the call. After several negotiations, ESPN/ABC re-signed the Lewiston, Maine native to continue what she does best–reporting on college football.
As part of her new contract she garnered more responsibilities such as being a featured reporter on College GameDay. She will also inherit sideline duties during spotlight games. Additionally, she will be a regular on ABC’s Good Morning America reporting on current events not necessarily sports related. ESPN/ABC is set to officially announce the new contract later today.
